I felt like I'm being a dick, and this guy, who was amazingly survive for so long and talk how the war sucks, how many people had died, all which worth for nothing. I felt that how on earth you are going to replay a campaign based on how mad the commander is, and yes that commander is the player, and you are no different than Stalin, you are no better than Hitler, you made (no other option) decision and you suck because of it. And missions to burn house and kill civilians makes me felt weird, do they actually do that? Surely not every commander is axe crazy, but here it is, and the person in charge is.YOU, yeah you the player. But how he narrated the game makes me wonder why the hell I play the campaign the first place. Sure war is brutal, Stalin sucks and millions dead.
#Company of heroes 2 replay player pro
Urrgghhh, this is why I hate this game, why because I felt that the person who narrated the story is pretty much a guy with no balls or too pro west type. The bad, mostly on the too fluent infantry movement, limited tech tree, and still the stingy command availability(DLC, a criminal!) And still 2 factions. By the way, now instead of units spawning from buildings, they have be called in, in which the building you build are serve more like a command centre than an actual factory(which is weird, but still forgivable if it is implemented.) The brutality brings me a lot of joy about this game, its really, really fun too see how you slaughter or get wiped out in this game.
#Company of heroes 2 replay player Patch
It is one of the most challenging game I've played on the multiplayer, as playes show no qualm on using suicidal attack just to force me to retreat, trick me onto a mine and blow my Is 2 tanks to bits by luring me across and bridge or ice patch rigged with explosive. Explosion felt real and not funny, soldiers will take cover, cross low obstacles and fire across building. These essence where made Company of Heroes great still can be seen in Company of Heroes 2, albiet take a little step further, soldiers who are shot, crawl in agony, blown to pieces and crush to bits when run over by armored vehicles. It can be good and bad, the good, its still a tag of war, slogging out brutality, where soldiers take cover, toss grenade and build tanks to blast infantry apart. I felt that the game overall have not change much in terms of gameplay compared to its predecessor.

Sure you can run smoothly, but what kind of satisfaction you get from it? The game sometimes runs to a crawl on medium settings, and the auto-set always set everything to the lowest. But surely, not everyone could afford a laptop where it can run Rome II or Battlefield 3 on the highest settings available. Why? Because the graphics in the new game made only slight improvement, but jumped the graphic requirement needed to run this game exponentially. I mean, why don't make a few more so that I can ignore everything else and focus the higher textured soldiers do the shooting. No Building Details, no Vegetation details. But here, everything was shrink into one single button- Texture Resolution, that's it. Despite I can play Company of heroes on Ultra High, I usually lowered the building and terrain detail to medium so that i won't cough during a monstrous shootout and explosion.

But limiting on what, how or when you can tuned your graphics is what the players want. errrr.not what I expected from a studio that made Company of Heroes so great.ĭudes from Relic, I know making units and environment higher texture quality overall improved the experience.

After I got my copy, installed, play and. I've been eager to get my copy first day launch since I can't pre-order it due to my financial limitation. By Will圜hong | Review Date: SeptemTo be honest, I was waiting a sequel that will make Comapny of Heroes a game of the distant past, ready to be forgotten quickly.
